Meets on the 3Rd Monday of the Month
at

Westminster Presbyterian Church
1521 NW 34th Street Gainesville, Florida
Corner of NW 34th Street and NW 15th Avenue

Fly fishers have witnessed over the past few years an extraordinary increase in their ranks as more and more people discover the joys of angling with a fly rod. There has been a similar growth in the number and size of fly fishing clubs such as our club, the North Florida Fly Fishers, based in Gainesville, Florida. The reasons underlying such growth are many, but it is safe to say that for many, membership in a club opens new avenues of enjoyment as anglers of kindred spirit (and varying skills) come together in an atmosphere of mutual help and appreciation.

Some meeting programs are lectures; some are hands-on clinics dealing with subjects such as fly casting, new equipment, or fly tying.  Our members are interested in both freshwater and saltwater fishing; some fish from boats, canoes or kayaks; some wade, and others fish from the banks of small ponds and lakes. Some are more skilled than others, but we all have an interest in learning. We invite you to explore our website and see what we are doing.

Special Thanks to Dingo Fly Vice, The Tackle Box and P&J Marine for sponsoring the club and its activities.  Be sure to mention that you're a member of NFFF and thank them in person the next time you shop with them. Click their logos to view their web pages or for more information.
